Students will be studying gymnastics during Phys Ed from Tuesday, January 7th till Thursday, January 24th.
*Please wear clothing that is easy to move in and comfortable. Sweats and a t-shirt are great clothing options (Remembering not to have TOO loose of a top on)
*Please try to avoid dresses or skirts
*If you have long hair please try your best to have it in a ponytail so that it does not go in your face
Ms. Karpick’s class will be going to the Central Library on March 9-13
Mr. Kearney's class will be going to the Central Library on April 27 - May 1.
We will need 4 volunteers for each day of this week long field trip/study run successfully. If you are already an approved volunteer and would be available for one or some of these days, please let Ms. Karpick and/or Mr. Kearney know ASAP.
If you are not yet a volunteer but would like to be, please start the process with the front office.
In January we are starting conversations around addition and building our skills and strategies in this area. Watch Twitter and the blog for new games and ideas you can play at home.
We will be continuing to strengthen our skills working as a community and building a variety of things together as part of our science unit and social studies units.
We are happy to have everyone back for the new year! We know the next six months of school will fly by with fun activities and learning. Some things to remember to help make your child's day the most successful for them:
-pack and label outdoor gear to lessen the chances of it being lost
-returning and exchanging home reading consistently
-packing healthy snacks and lunches
-sending refillable water bottles to help students stay hydrated
