Every day we practice our reading in a variety of ways: read to self, read to a partner and guided reading with the teacher. Together we are learning these new strategies to help us with our reading.
On Wednesday we started some research about apples. Our class will be investigating and learning all about apples for the remaining part of December. We would appreciate any donations of various types of apples to help us with our investigation. 
Today our snowman friend "Olaf" that helps us with writing had built himself a house. In the afternoon we did a design challenge and worked to plan and build some shelters for his snowman friend.
